The Fort Thomas Apaches opened up the football season with a disappointing 42-18 against Joseph City. Despite losing, the Apaches made fantastic plays on both offense and defense. Manny Carrizoza scored three touchdowns on offense and defenders made great plays, including causing and recovering fumbles.
